At the end of last month, a number of Senior Blades attended Weston Park Museum to see the Joe Scarborough exhibition, ‘Life in the Big Village’. We were lucky enough to have Joe come along to speak to the group, giving everyone an insight into how his work is put together. We soon gathered a number of other visitors to the museum who were eager to hear Joe speak. In the increasing numbers, we spotted a young Blade in his kit, along with his Mum and younger brother, listening intently. It was lovely to see the young man has got great taste in his choice of football team and art appreciation.
Joe will be speaking at our November lunch meeting and his exhibition continues until 24th November, very well worth a visit.
