A packed Platinum Suite hosted the Senior Blades Christmas party on 12 December, with 330 members and guests sitting down and enjoying a great Christmas meal, followed by dancing to the Rag Dolls.
Before the entertainment started, Supporters’ Liaison Officer and Club Historian, John Garrett introduced guests from the playing side of Sheffield United Women’s and Men’s teams. Sophie Barker, Bex Raynor, Sam Tierney, Manager Carla Ward and General Manager Lee Walshaw represented the Women, with John Egan, George Baldock, David McGoldrick, Manager Chris Wilder and Alan Knill from the Men’s team.
The players distributed the small gifts that each person receives and posed for photos and signed autographs on their way round the room. Chris and Senior Blades Chairman, Brian Walton did their usual light hearted Q&A banter which always brings smiles to faces.
This event gets better each year and this year was a sell out of tickets. Our thanks go to Compass and all their staff for providing a lovely meal, good service and a very festive Platinum Suite.
