Today, 22 February 2019 marks 75 years since the American B17 Bomber Mi Amigo tragically crashed in Endcliffe Park, Sheffield, killing all ten young airmen on board. Thousands of people, including one of Senior Blades veterans, Roy Ashton, gathered in the park to mark this anniversary. A wreath, on behalf of all Senior Blades, has been placed at the memorial.
