Elizabeth Currie was busy clearing her cupboards of the jigsaws she had collected during the lockdown. She suddenly thought it might be an idea to bring them to Senior Blades to see if any other members might like them.
So at our last lunch in February we had a table with a great selection of jigsaws which members could have for a small donation. Naturally, they all went and we are hoping there will be some more for sale at our March lunch too. Many thanks to Elizabeth for coming up with this idea, we hope it will be a great success and our members enjoy their new jigsaws.
The donations are going to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice who do a wonderful job, helping and caring for children and their families who want an alternative to hospital care.
