Future entertainment/speakers at our lunches
At our 12th September lunch we will be hearing stories from ‘The voice of Bramall Lane’ Gary Sinclair. Gary certainly will have some stories to tell and there will probably be as many that he can’t repeat! It is sure to be a very entertaining afternoon.
On 10th October we will be welcoming Davey Nicholls. Davey is a young male vocalist of the highest calibre. Never failing to entertain, Davey’s natural vocal ability is apparent, whatever style of music he chooses to perform.
On the 14th of November we are delighted to have Brian Deane. We are sure that all Blades fans won’t need an introduction to onef the legends of Sheffield United. Brian famously scored the first Premier League goal after five minutes on 15th August 1992 against Manchester United. He scored a second from the penalty spot 60 minutes later and the Blades went on to win 2-1. Brian scored many more goals for Sheffield United in his time with us and we are looking forward to hearing his stories.
Christmas Lunch Date
Our Christmas lunch this year will be on Wednesday 13th December and tickets will be going on sale to members at the October lunch. Further information including the cost of the lunch will be circulated in our next newsletter.
Membership Renewals
Membership renewals (£8) will be available at our September lunch on 12th September and onwards from that date.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION NON-ATTENDANCE AT OUR LUNCHES
From September 2023, the cost of non-attendance at a lunch that has NOT been cancelled prior to the numbers being given to Compass, will be the full cost of the lunch (£20). Up to this date, Senior Blades have always subsidised half the cost but unfortunately, we are no longer able to support this.
