RIP Colin Addison

All at Senior Blades were very saddened to hear of the passing of our former player, Colin Addison on 31st October.  Colin joined the Blades in 1967 until October 1971, making 94 appearances and scoring 22 goals.  He was a fans favourite and a gentleman too.  On leaving, he joined Hereford United at Player/Manager, who can forget one of his great managerial moments, when Ronnie Radford scored the goal to beat Newcastle United in the FA Cup.  He went on to manage several clubs both here and abroad and was always a welcome visitor at Bramall Lane throughout his career.

Our sincere condolences are sent to his family, he will be sorely missed.
