Back in September, we wrote about our honorary member, Ralph Wild, celebrating his 100th birthday. As lots of people will know, Ralph was a regular visitor to these shores from his home in Canada, spending six months here and six months in Canada. During his time in Sheffield, he would catch up with family and his friends at Senior Blades and always attended the lunches and all home games. In his 98th year, his doctor advised him to end his transatlantic journeys, so we haven’t seen him since. At the end of September, Ralph reached the milestone of 100 and was joined by his UK based nephews and their wives, along with his Canada based children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family have let us have some photos from one of his three birthday parties and we hope you enjoy seeing how fit and well Ralph is and still enjoying life.
