Earlier in May this year, the Senior Blades Spring outing took us to Salford Quays in Manchester. A full coach crossed the pennines and we arrived at Salford Quays ready for a good day out. There was a wide variety of restaurants, a shopping area with lots of outlets and some members enjoyed a boat trip on the canal too. The Salford Quays museum and Art Gallery, the Lowry Theatre but the highlight for several members was the Imperial War Museum North, well worth a visit.
