On Thursday 19th May we had our first trip of the year to York. It was a very good day with fine weather and everyone looked forward to the opportunity to have a relaxing time after the previous restrictions we had all been under due to the pandemic. Members were able to take a river trip, walk the city walls or look around the many historic buildings in York. Some members even managed to catch a glimpse of Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, who was in the City to take the salute as the 2 Signal Regiment exercised their Freedom of York. An excellent day, enjoyed by everyone.
