BOWLS TOURNAMENT
Our Bowls Tournament returns this year on Tuesday 21st September 2021 and it will be played once again at the Hollinsend Bowls Club. Our tournament did not take place last year due to the Covid Pandemic. The event in 2019 had to be abandoned at lunchtime due to some torrential downpours and the flooding of the greens. Members wishing to take part this year must renew their membership before the 20th September 2021.
AWAY DAYS
The long awaited trip to Skegness is still going ahead – hopefully. The date is now Thursday 16th September 2021. The coach will leave Cherry Street at 8.00am prompt. The cost is £15.00 to members and £20.00 for non-members. There are a few seats still available and if you are interested in booking one, contact Sue Foster on 0114 255 0053.

Our first Super Six season is over and congratulations go to JACK BOWS who is this years winner of the Senior Blades Super Six League. Jack has dominated the top spot in the league since day one, having scored 17 points in round one on the 12th September, and then in the final round scored another 17 points. Other noteable efforts are JACK BOWS with 41 correct scores and ARTHUR MASON with 146 correct results.
