At our May lunch meeting at the end of the previous season, we were delighted to have a surprise visit from the management team of Paul Heckinbottom, Jack Lester and Stuart McCall. Members were thrilled and had the opportunity to ask questions of the trio as well as being able to take the chance to have their photos taken with them too. They were congratulated on achieving promotion and we wished them the very best of luck for this season.
Our early Autumn trip this year is to the famous Bury Market, taking place on Wednesday 13th September. There is the opportunity for an optional trip on the East Lancs Railway, dependent on numbers.
