Senior Blades ended their spring/summer excursions with a double visit. Firstly to the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas and then to St George’s Park, the home of the England teams, at Burton on Trent. The Arboretum is a very interesting place to visit and it is a very worthwhile trip. Our photograph shows Brian Bamforth standing by the National Service memorial. Brian did his national service in Vienna with the West Yorkshire regiment as part of the occupational forces.
